With a win by St. Mary's the press will use the phrases "Cinderella"
and "George Mason" in a roughly 2:1 ratio from now until St. Mary's is
eliminated. GMU also beat a Big Least team (UConn), but that was in
moving from the Elite Eight to the Final Four. The boost in
applicants (20%) after that year still has people talking on campus.
